LUDWIGSHAFEN, GERMANY — BASF SE is introducing a new logo in conjunction with the company’s 150th anniversary next year that emphasizes sustainability.
The logo includes the claim “We create chemistry,” in accordance with the company’s “We create chemistry for a sustainable future” motto, which was introduced in 2011.
“Our 150-year history shows that chemistry is an enabler for new ideas and solutions. Innovation in the 21st century will require new strategies and tools, and social networks are an important part of the mix,” said Chairman Kurt Bock, in a news release.
Ludwigshafen-based BASF is planning a news conference on Dec. 4 to disclose details of its 150th anniversary celebration, which will include an event on April 23. |
